Sewing Is Fun

Over Christmas break in MI, I took a nice Benneton shirt I bought in SF and re craftied it. The shirt was actually a nice white kind of translucent shirt -- The first item of clothing I ever bought courtesy of fashion consultant Froopes on my first trip shopping with him in SF. But turns out the shirt was just a little too plain and white for me to wear all the time. A little big too.

So, I ripped the collar off and reattached it as epilets. Rough-style rehemmed the bottom, took in the sleeves and back -- basically turned it from a medium into a small. Fun stuff.

Anyhow, Wired.com had a neat article on hip folks sewing and links to patterns and stuff. Enjoy:
